WoW Forever Release Date, Launch Time, and Name Reservation

Blizzard’s published launch time is November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. It is one global moment, so some regions will see the launch on November 5. The table below converts that instant using each city’s daylight-saving rules in effect on launch day.

When does WoW Forever come out?

The launch is scheduled for November 4 at 23:00 UTC. Your local time may fall on the next calendar day. Check the official overview close to launch in case Blizzard announces a change.

The official announcement says World of Warcraft: Forever access is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or game time at launch. Optional upgrade editions have separate benefits; beta access and early name reservation have their own eligibility terms.

Early name reservation

Blizzard lists early name reservation from October 27 through November 3, 2026, for eligible upgrade purchases. Names are first come, first served, and a desired name is not guaranteed. The feature uses a two-name character format; see Blizzard’s naming rules before choosing a combination.
