October 6, 2026 — realm restart and priority fixes

Blizzard announced a brief restart for priority fixes. The notice called out missing quest items intended to restock in chests; a follow-up added fixes for occasional disconnects on elevators or transports, and an error when joining or leaving a guild. It was a maintenance notice, not a full patch changelog or a live server status feed.

October 1, 2026 — beta development notes

The larger update raised the current beta character cap to level 30, added Excavation Site: Wetlands, and opened Razorfen Downs and Uldaman.
