WoW Forever Cost: Subscription, Packs and Beta Access

WoW Forever is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time at launch. That is different from being free to play without either. Optional packs unlock additional benefits; choose based on the feature you want, rather than assuming the base game needs every upgrade.

Is WoW Forever free?

For ordinary launch access, you need an active subscription or game time. Already subscribed? Blizzard includes Forever access from November 4. Not subscribed? Check the official regional subscription or game-time offer before budgeting. We do not quote a universal monthly price because currency, taxes and available offers can differ.

Skyborne Heroic Pack, Epic Pack and Collection

Option	Main access benefits	Included game time
Subscription or game time	Base Forever access at launch	Your active subscription or purchased time
Skyborne Heroic Pack	Skyborne race, Zephras Isle and early name reservation	No 30-day benefit listed
Skyborne Epic Pack	Heroic benefits plus beta access	30 days, added November 4
Warcraft Forever Collection	Epic benefits plus Warcraft III: Reforged and Forsaken Kingdom campaign	Epic’s 30-day benefit

The packs also have cosmetic benefits; consult the official comparison for the complete list. Beta access is listed for Epic and the Collection, not Heroic alone.

How much does WoW Forever cost in my region?

Open the official shop, select your region and edition, and confirm the checkout currency and account. Price snippets in search results may come from another locale or an older offer. Use the offer shown for your account as the current price; this comparison explains access benefits rather than quoting a fixed checkout total.

Our purchasing advice: decide whether you want base launch play, Skyborne, or guaranteed bundle beta access first. Then compare only the offers that provide that benefit. Buying more features does not establish that a character is stronger or that you need those features to enjoy launch.

Looking for a WoW Forever collector’s edition?

The named bundle in this comparison is Warcraft Forever Collection. Check Blizzard’s official announcement and shop when comparing it with any collector’s offer. This guide does not establish physical stock, shipping dates or regional availability, and a similar name is not proof that two offers have identical contents.

Are launch-week friend codes beta keys?

No. Blizzard’s Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes cover eligible invitees during November 4–11 and do not include beta access. Read the linked purchase terms for eligibility. To play the test, follow the beta account-access guide.
